DFF is looking for volunteers!

DFF is looking for volunteer database coding help (possibly SQL?) ! I can cover CSS, HTML, and graphic design. I pick up on coding rather quickly, but I am not sure where to start! My main issue is how to integrate and display database data onto a website similar to what DFF already has. It would be great to use Google Sheets and parse the data (PHP?), but also needs to be searchable. I am also looking for a cheap webhost that allows SQL and/or PHP, so send suggestions!

What is the Doll Feature Finder?

The Doll Feature Finder is a community created database that allows an individual to search for a resin ball-jointed doll with specific features. You can search for dolls that have hooves, closed eyes, mermaid tails, jointed hands, and more! You can sort the data by company, size, feature, name, and even availability. If you would like to see a doll on this list, then feel free to add it using the "Add a Doll" form! You may also add doll companies and even request updates and corrections for dolls and companies already listed.

Dolls to Scale

Flickr Group

Dolls to Scale is a Flickr group where photos of dolls are added that have a grid behind them. This makes it easy to compare them and to see if a hybrid idea will work. Eventually, I would like to incorporate this feature into this website.
