A Warm Welcome to Everyone!

We’ve seen a lot of growth recently, and it’s great to see the interest in the project. However, we need to share some important info regarding website accounts to keep this resource sustainable for everyone.

Our backend (Baserow) charges per registered member. If we have a large number of "lurker" accounts that aren't contributing data, the costs could actually put the entire project at financial risk. Specifically me... 😭💀

The donate page explains this financial horror in detail. They keep changing it though....

What a user account gets you:

• A user profile that includes an avatar, a list of social media accounts, a short bio section, and a list of all contributed data (you must be logged in when submitting data for contributed data to register).
• Automatic tracking of added data.
• Ability to edit shared data (dolls and companies) and the ability to edit your own resin and hybrid submissions.

• Want to browse? You can view the database without an account!
• Want to contribute? We would love your help! You can add data without an account! However, your submission will require approval before the data appears in the database. Not to worry, you can also give yourself credit for the submission!
