Doll size categories are meant to be a general guide, not a strict rule carved into resin. Different companies and collectors often use different standards, so opinions can vary.
For example, one person may consider a doll YoSD-sized, while another may feel it fits better in the MSD category.
Whenever possible, dolls should always be listed under the size category assigned by the original company.
For example:
Dream Valley’s MSD dolls are tall enough that some collectors may compare them to smaller SD dolls. However, Dream Valley officially markets them as MSD, so they should be categorized as MSD.

This table was created to better reflect the modern doll market and provide a more useful guide for today’s collectors. Think of size labels as signposts, not laws.
